Update 24 August 2025

century.co.ke is an independent informational platform dedicated to providing insights into the JetX game and online gaming-related topics. We do not operate any gambling services or facilitate gaming transactions. Our primary objective is to educate users about JetX, including gameplay mechanics, responsible gaming practices, and the regulatory environment in Kenya.

Legal Status of Online Gaming in Kenya
Gambling in Kenya is legal and regulated, with online gaming and betting governed by the Betting, Lotteries, and Gaming Act under the oversight of the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB). Operators offering online gambling services must obtain a valid Kenyan gaming license to operate legally within the country.

The government has introduced strict regulations in recent years to enhance consumer protection, ensuring that all licensed betting platforms adhere to responsible gaming policies, fair play, and financial security measures. Unlicensed gambling platforms are considered illegal in Kenya, and players engaging with them may not be protected under local laws.

Affiliate Partnerships and Compensation
Our website may contain affiliate links that redirect users to third-party gaming platforms. If a user registers or makes a transaction through these links, we may receive a commission. These commissions help us maintain our platform and continue providing free, valuable content for our users.

Commitment to Transparency and Responsible Gaming
At century.co.ke, we prioritize transparency and responsible gaming. While we earn commissions from affiliate links, this does not influence our recommendations or editorial content. We strive to provide unbiased, factual, and helpful information, ensuring that we only recommend licensed and reputable gaming platforms that comply with Kenyan regulations.

We actively support responsible gaming and encourage players to:

Set personal gaming limits to control spending and playing time.
Engage in gaming for entertainment purposes only, not as a means of income.
Seek help if gambling begins to negatively impact their well-being.
If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling addiction, we recommend seeking support from organizations such as GamHelp Kenya or Gambling Therapy.

User Responsibility
Before engaging with any online gaming platform, users should:

Verify that the platform is licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB).
Ensure they are of legal age (18+ years) to participate in online gaming.
Read and understand the terms and conditions of any platform before registering.
Be aware of the risks associated with online gaming and practice responsible gambling habits.
Disclaimer
