You can access the service by dialling *871# on Safaricom & Airtel and Telkom lines.
2. What is the Hela247 App?
Hela247 is a smart phone app that requires Android for FREE access to mobile banking and services on the go. Start Digital Banking seamlessly from everywhere. The app is available for download at the Play store and supported on Android 4.4 and above.
3. Why should you sign up for mobile banking?
Mobile Banking is a fast, easy and secure way of accessing your bank 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from wherever you are. It allows you to carry out menu driven transactions without having to visit the bank physically, allowing you to bank anytime, anywhere.
4. How do you register for mobile banking?
Visit any of our branches and fill in the registration form or dial *871# to register.
5. Are there any charges for the registration for mobile banking?
There are no charges to register for mobile banking. However, once registered, normal charges are levied on your transactions.
NB: Normal mobile network operator charges will apply for Internet services where using the Hela247 mobile application.
6. What do you do if you forget your PIN?
Please call our Customer Contact Centre on +254 756 305 132 to request for a new PIN. Your PIN will be sent to you via SMS and you have the option of changing your PIN once you log-in.
7. Will you be able to access all your accounts?
You can access all your accounts apart from accounts that are jointly held.
8. What can I do with mobile banking?
• Check your account balance
• Get mini-statements
• Pay TV, water, electricity and NCC bills
• Purchase airtime
9. How can I deposit money to my account?
Use the Paybill 888600, the account number being your registered number to deposit your mobile money account.
10. What should I do if I send money to the wrong number?
Reach out to us through our Contact Centre on 0756 305132 / 0722 168721 immediately and our agents will assist in reversing the transaction before the money is withdrawn.
11. Can I access mobile loans?
Yes, with your account active for more than three months, you will be able to access mobile loans with your loan limit being your account activity during that period.
